Luftwaffe two photo albums of an air gunner serving with Kampfgeschwader 153. He was awarded the 1939 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, Wound Badge in Black, Air Gunner's & Flight Engineer's Badge, Sudetenland Medal with "Prager Burg", Luftwaffe Long Service Award for 4 years, and Squadron Clasp for Kampfflieger in Bronze. According to our consignor, the owner was a recipient of the German Cross in Gold.
The soldier began his military career in 1934 with the Infanterie-Regiment 10. There are some photos of his education and a portrait photo of him. In the further course also photos of his education, but now with the Luftwaffe. Furthermore many very nice aircraft photos, you can see the squadron emblem ("song thrush"). Also, photos were taken inside the aircraft. Photos of Hermann Göring visiting the troops and photos of Luftwaffe Knight's Cross winners.
