It documents the WWI service of his father. The album consists of portrait and group photos, shots of the front, postcards, and general (private) photos of the family. Total: 167 photos.

Adolf Schönenberg begann his service with the Kriegsmarine on 1. July 1938. The album shows his military education, the swearing-in on 3.8.1938, anti-aircraft gun crews, shots of the ships, two photos of Großadmiral Erich Raeder, and one photo of Kapitänleutnant Gellert. Also portrait and group photos. Some photos were taken from the album. Total: 323 photos + 12 postcards.
