VIEW DESCRIPTION

uftwaffe visor cap for EM and NCOs. Unlike an officer's cap which was always worn with a silver bullion piping, EM and NCOs had a colored piping that indicated the branch they were serving for.

Branch: Flying troops. Yellow piping.
Insignia: A zinc cap eagle and an aluminum wreath badge. Prongs of the wreath badge missing. Eagle original but replaced.
Chin strap: textbook black strap for EM and NCOs. Correct buttons period time attached.

Lining: orange linen
Celluloid diamond: signs of wear

Maker's mark: Rare: "-- Leparo - Farbrikmarke Leonhard Paulig Rothenburg Oder" Size 56,5 marked.
Sweat-band: clear signs of wear.

A few moth holes.
