All pieces come from the estate of an army medical officer.
The side cap is made of field grey cloth and comes with a machine-woven eagle and a hand-embroidered cockade. Cornflower blue soutache piping. All insignia were attached by hand. Silver officer's cord on the top and front. Field grey painted grommets (non-magnetic). Grey cotton lining with a brown leather sweatband (maker marked) in the forehead area.
Signs of use and moth damage, however an untouched "Schiffchen".
