Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

The blade features the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" and the maker's mark of Carl Eickhorn. Pitting on both sides.

Black wooden handle with inlaid SS roundel and eagle. It has a few small chips. Early nickel fittings. "I" stamped on the lower fitting. Black-painted steel scabbard with nickel-plated iron fittings. All screws are present. Includes the dagger chain (iron). "SS" stamped on the back. Fully working snap clip.

The dagger was assembled after the war with original parts. The scabbard and the dagger chain were refinished (restored). Please see the pictures for the condition.
