The blade is in very nice condition 1- and shows the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". No maker's mark (as it should be). Black wooden handle with inserted SS roundel and national eagle. No chipping. Nickel-plated iron fittings.
Original black painted scabbard (magnetic) with nickel-plated iron fittings. No dents. All five screws are in place. With the original dagger chain. Nickel-plated iron type. The chain links bear raised SS runes and skulls. Marked "SS" on the reverse side. Fully working snap-clip, so-called "Germanic knot".
Slightly pitting on the fittings and rust stains on the chain links. Overall condition 2.
