Heer visor cap for officers made in 1939 by "EMIL LUDKE MÜTZENFABRIK JENA".

Branch: infantry. White color piping
Insignia: Hand-embroidered officer's pattern cap wreath badge. Corroded. Attached by hand period time. Embroidered cap eagle re-attached postwar. Original.
Chin strap: officer's strap. Correct buttons period time attached.

Lining: Typical early linen lining. Celluloid diamond removed. Size 56 stamped.

Maker's mark: "EMIL LUDKE MÜTZENFABRIK JENA"
Sweat-band: Signs of wear. Minor damage. Soft.

No moth damage. A crack to the inner cap band.
