Luftschutz, greyish-coloured wooden case: 'Tier-Luftschützkasten 39' (that comes complete with most of its contents). The wooden casing (measuring: 43 x 30 x 13,5 cms.) retains a fully preserved greyish-coloured paint that shows a stenciled (black-coloured) text on its top that reads: 'Tier-Luftschützkasten 39'. The piece retains its (glued-in, paper-based-) etiket that provides a detailed overview on the particular contents and retains a (functional) closing-device in place.
The set - which was specifically intended for usage by members of the Third-Reich air-raid-wardens' organisation ie. 'Luftschutz' - came with various (empty) carton containers (intended to hold 'Soda' and/or 'Chloraminpuder') and other miscellaneous medical-equipment-items.
