Beautiful Heer officer's visor cap for a Gebirgsjäger. A high quality cap made by EREL. EREL Sonderklasse marked to the intact celluloid diamond. "Offizier Kleiderkasse". "EREL Stirndruckfrei Patent" marked to the sweat-band. There is a stamp underneath the sweat-band which is hard to read however, it is certainly a "Geprüft" unit stamp which typically can be seen on Gebirgsjäger caps.
Very nice silk lining. Embroidered officer's wreath badge as well as a matching zinc Edelweiss cap badge.
Green pining (different to the dark green piping of civil servants).
