Rare German M16 transitional Heer helmet which was re-issued after 1935 with two factory applied Wehrmacht Heer decals. Typical fieldgrey paint which covers most of the helmet. Easily 90%. Both decals with signs of wear. Eagle decal about 80%, the national decal about 65%.
Original attached metal ring and liner. One pad well worn with a worn off area. The rear rivet is missing.
No stamps found to the shell. Probably covered by paint.
Size should be 57.
Over all a "untouched" and very rare helmet in good condition.
