Description
Important grouping to Hauptmann Wilhelm Werlin who was awarded the Knight's Cross during the battle of Stalingrad. He had a "Versorgung Stalingrad" mission (see his flight book) to Pitomnik (Stalingrad) on 30.12.1942, the day the Knight's Cross was awarded to him.
At this time, Werlin had over 320 enemy missions, destroyed over 40 aircrafts on the ground, more than 150 lorries, 8 trains and 5 ships on the river Wolga!

His grouping was never available on the market. Please see other lots to Wilhelm Werlin and also his father, SS-Oberführer Jakob Werlin.

One album mostly on Werlin's son born in June 1943. Six photos show Werlin with his Knight's Cross. 100 photos in total.
The second album with roughly 150 photos inside. Mostly family photos, but period time. The most interesting ones are towards the end taking on the day of Werlin's wedding. You can see him wearing his German Cross in gold many times.

Will will only show the more interesting photos on the pictures below.
