Waffen-SS, tropical-issue uniform-set comprising of 'Sahariana'-tunic and short-sized field-trousers (ie. 'shorts'). The two-pieced set comprises of 'standard'-issue' pattern, brownish-yellow-coloured- tropical-style Waffen-SS field-tunic (often referred to as 'Sahariana'-tunic). This piece retains all its (period-attached) glass-based buttons (which are marked: 'JFS 1941') and 'off-factory machine-sewn', golden-yellow-coloured arm-eagle (as executed in 'BeVo-weave-pattern): moreover, does it show an (equally tropical-styled) rank-chevron (or: 'Rottenführer-Armwinkel').
The tunic bears two internal first-aid bandage-pouches but is void of any shoulder-straps. The tunic shows moderate wear and is void of any makers- ie. size-stamp (this might, however, be washed-away during usage and wear). The tunic has an waist of approximately 90 cms. and will fit a medium-sized mannequin.
It came with a pair of brownish-yellow-coloured- and tropical-style service-trousers or shorts (ie. 'Tropenhose'). This example is executed in equally styled linnen and retains a (partial) white-coloured- and linnen-based interior-section. The pair retains all its (glass) based buttons (which are period-mounted onto the pair) and shows six metal-based belt-hooks: the pairs also shows a clear size- ie. maker-stamp on its inside. It is also fairly sized and has a waist of: 80 cms. and length of: 57 cms.
