Heer gas-mask (ie. 'Gasmaske') in can as was worn and used by the 'Schütze' Schellnast who served within the: 'Wehrbezirkskommando Krummau a/d Moldau'. The piece is named as can be seen from the glued-in etiket in the top of the can. The can retains most of its field-grey-coloured paint and shows the (white-coloured- and painted-) number: '19' on its side. The can comes with its period gas mask (and filter). The set came with a set of (post-war) straps and shows some age, wear and/or staining: it was, however, never cleaned.
