Description
Waffen-SS, 3-pieced (tropical-styled) insignia-set comprising of a single, NCO-pattern shoulderstrap and two rank-chevrons ('Armwinkel).
The shoulderstrap is piped in the light-blue-coloured branchcolour and shows the (yellowish coloured) NCO-braid and was as such intended for usage by an: 'SS-Unterscharführer u. Mitglied der Nachshub-Truppen' (or junior NCO who served within a Waffen-SS transport-unit).
The strap shows the light-blue-coloured- and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached and comes mounted on its period tongue. The strap shows a standard-pattern-type tongue attached and measures approximately 10,8 cms. in length as more often and was hardly (or even never) worn: it just shows some minimal age.
It came with two (black-coloured) rank-chevrons ('Armwinkel) that respectively show a single and/or double stripe of (tropical-styled) NCO-braid attached: both were as such intended for a soldier with the rank of: 'Sturmmann' ie. 'Rottenführer'. Both pieces were never worn nor tunic-attached.
