Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM/NCO-pattern, white-topped summer-type visor-cap (ie. 'Sommer-Schirmmütze') as was intended for usage by the various 'Luftwaffe' non-commissioned staff serving within the signal-troops ('Nachrichten-Truppen').
The piece comes with a (removable) white-coloured top which is executed in (typical) white-coloured- and 'ribbed'-style linnen. The cap itself has the rust-brown-coloured- and woolen-type piping attached and shows a white-coloured (and linnen-type-) lining and 'Celluloid'-based diamond, installed. This diamond is totally undamaged and shows a printed makers'-designation (or: logo) that reads: 'Breiter - München' (as can be seen on the pictures).
The cap shows a 'standard'- (early-) pattern, silver-coloured- and aluminium-based cap-eagle and dito visor-cap-cocarde in place (which are both very detailed and which are firmly attached). The brownish-coloured sweat-band is also fully intact and nicely preserved (it comes, however, a bit loose from the cap.). The cap comes with its undamaged (and black-backed) visor and (period) leather-based cap-strap ('Sturmriemen') in place.
The cap - which has retained a nice shape - comes in an overall very nice condition and shows moderate age and wear (some tiny stains are visible on its top). It is approximately 58 cms. sized and will with certainty fit a mannequins'-head.
