Waffen-SS "Italian camo" field tunic
Description
Waffen-SS (ie. WH Heeres) M43/44-model tunic as (privately) constructed from Italian camouflaged-material (ie. 'Tarnjacke in italienischer Tarnstoff').
The tunic - is executed in so-called: Italian camouflaged-cloth and was clearly worn and washed a lot and has regrettably lost most of its period colour. It shows some minimal damage (ie. it shows a single tiny hole on its front and shows some minimal paint-staining). The piece is void of any lining but has all its (metal-based- and field-grey-coloured-) buttons in place.
The tunic was (professionally) period-constructed by a tailor and meets all specifications of a 'standard-issued' tunic: it has four (pleaded) breast-pockets and still has both its shoulderstrap-loops in place. Moreover, does it show the clear evidence of having once having collar-patches attached.
It is totally void of a maker- (ie. size-) stamp and has approximate waist-size of 94 cms.
