Heer tropical sidecap made in 1942. It was once issued to signal troops. You can see rest of the yellow soutache if you look closely. Original attached machine-woven insignia. Eagle attached by hand, cockade attached by machine.
One zinc grommet original, the other grommet replaced.
Red linen lining. CLEMENS WAGNER BRAUNSCHWEIG maker marked. "Mai 1942" dated.
56 and 54 size stamped It is more likely a size 54.
