Argentinean M1910 officer's sabre to General Gregorio Tauber. He was the commander of the "Regimiento de Patricios" Regiment of Patricians from 1939 until 1941. It is the oldest and one of the most prestigious regiments of the Argentine Army.

It comes with a so-called "Steckrückenklinge mit Schör" blade. Etched to two sides. Inscription "Sean eternos los laureles." to one side. Made by the German company WCK. Maker marked. 

Brass hilt fittings. The knuckle-guard shows the engraved Inscription "GENERAL GREGORIO TAUBER - AL AMIGO - SENOR ARTURO SAINT KELLY". Furthermore, the langets come with the face of Medusa and that of a Spartan to the other side.

Original black factory patined scabbard. Around 85 % of the original paint present. Slight dents.

An interesting sabre with a lot of room for additional research.
