Extremely rare Heer M35 helmet which an untouched period time 3-color camo paint to the shell. The paint was sprayed and shows brown, green and khaki colors and it was used in Normandy in 1944 a lot. The eagle decal was left out and can clearly be seen. The national decal is covered.
The shell is EF64 maker marked. Initials of the soldier "W.B." are scratched to the side. The and chin strap do nicely match. Both are still very soft. The rivets show original color as well. The liner should be size 56.
Overall a great helmet in good condition 2. Very rare!
