Description
Thanks for your patience. Over 130 picture loading.

Unteroffizier Hermann Hörwertner served with 7./Fallschirmjäger Regiment 7 when he was badly injured on 29.7.43 during the bombing of the Viserbo airport in Italy and died shortly after on 30.7.1943. He worked at the hospital at SS-Übungslager Dachau in 1938 before he joined the Wehrmacht.

Very nice Wehrpaß full of Fallschirmjäger related entries and stamps. It gives all details on Hörwertners service time. He was part of the Balkan Campaign since April 1941 and was sent to Italy at the end of July 1943 where killed.

16 Fallschirmjäger Feldpost letters as well as many other period time documents and IDs of him. Letters of condolence as well as letters of his commander informing the family that Hermann Hörwertner was killed during the bombing of the Viserbo airport.

His NSFK flight book as well as two very nice studio portraits of him. Finally a nice detailed 7./Fall.Jg.Rgt.7 issued map of his cemetery as well as original photos of his grave which were sent to the family.

A very nice grouping which was never part of a collection before. Untouched!
