Description
Wehrmacht officers parade sword with engraved blade. A nice untouched sword by Alcoso.

The blade is engraved: ZUR ERINNERUNG AN IHRE KATZENKÖPFE IM KRIEGSJAHR 1940-1941

KATZENKOPF was the name of "Panzerwerk" at the Westwall. These soldiers must have served in these bunkers. A very personal dedication. The engraved letters are gilt.

Alcoso maker marked blade. Red eyes. Original painted scabbard. No dents. No damage to the blade. Only some light rust to the bottom of the scabbard which is a sign of use.

Nice patina. Very nice condition 2. Rare.

Length: 101cm.
