Eight ray breast start to the grand cross of the Albert Order. 1st type. Die stamped silver body. Center appliqué in gold and enamel. Center and rays rimmed with silver wire. Green cloth backing missing to the reverse.
Only 263 Grand Crosses of the 1st type were awarded from 1850 - 1975. Mainly full metal starts were awarded.

Extremely rare due to its fragile construction.
