Wachtmeister (Feldwebel) Kurt Sonnendorfer was born on 10.5.1918. He served from the first until the last day of WW2 and survived the war. He was dismissed on 9.5.1945 as a note in his Soldbuch confirms. Sonnendorfer joined Geb-Nachr.Abt.54 in 1937, served with Nachr.Ausb.Abt.7 and with Panzer-Nachrichten-Kompanie „R“ (Sturmdivision Rhodos).

This album was found just lately and has not been in collectors hands before. It is Sonnendorfer´s 3./Geb-Nachr.Abt.54 photo album containing RAD and Gebirgsjäger photos. A nice official Luftwaffe album in good condition. Roughly 163 photos inside. Also his mint Sudetenland Certificate inside. Excellent condition! Not glued in. You can take it out. At the end are a few Poland Campaign photos. One very nice one take during combat is "Höhe 374 vor Lemberg" titled. Two 1940 dated 1.Gebirgs-Division documents at the end.
