Description
Personal Kriegsmarine officers visor cap to Gerd Freiherr v. Buchberger-Eliatschek.
Dark blue officers visor cap . Buchberger-Eliatschek first served on the Schleswig-Holstein before he served as an observer with a Seeflieger. The cap comes with an photograph which shows him wearing this exact visor cap. Furthermore, there is a nice photograph which shows him as a Luftwaffe Leutnant wearing the High Seas Fleet Badge and the Luftwaffen Observers Badge.

The visor cap is in slightly worn condition.. The swastika of the cap-eagle has been removed. The black wool top can`t be taken off. Blue silk liner. A name tag to the celluloid diamond. Brown leather sweat-band with a newspaper below.

This cap could have been worn by a Leutnant zur See up to Kapitänleutnant.

All over a very nice and untouched officers visor cap to an Kriegsmarine officer which remaining almost unworn.

Rare cap with provenience! Size: 57
