Description
Well worn Kriegsmarine dark blue officer´s visor cap for a Leutnant. Original paper name tag. The actual name is hard to read but the rank he noted is "Leutnant zur See".

Visor with gold celluloid stitching. Worn by an Leutnant, Oberleutnant and Kapitän. Period time attached hand-embroidered wreath back with metal cockade. The cap eagle looks to have the matching patina but was attached very sloppy. That has of course also happened. However, it was certainly not attached by a tailor like this.

Blue silk lining.  Cracks to the celluloid diamond. Signs of wear and slight damage to the sweat-band.

A great cap with character. No moth damage. Size 57/58.
