Third Reich, aluminum-based, double-decal 'Feuerwehr'- (fire-brigade) protective-helmet. The helmet retains its period and complete liner and came with its complete (four-pieced- and leather-based) helmet-strap. The liner - which shows a 'padded' cushion installed - is void of any size-stamp and misses its period drawstring. The liner is period-affixed by means of its 3 (period- and non-altered) rivets. The steel-helmet shows the impressed ie. stamped makers'- (ie. size-) designation (ie. logo) that reads: 'BBF' and shows the text: 'Vorschriftmässig lt. Gesetz 3.5.1934'. The helmet comes with its (black-coloured- and leather) so-called 'neck-flap' (which shows a tiny damaged area) and truly retains all of its period, satin-like-, black-coloured paint and came with both its period decals attached (which are truly completely present and which are nicely preserved). The helmet comes with its aluminum-based head-piece (ie. 'Kamm') attached. The piece simply shows nor wear nor usage but does show some staining, dirt and minimal paint-loss simply caused by decades of storage: it has, however, never been cleaned and comes as found.
