Well worn Waffen-SS M43 field cap with removed trapezoid cap badge. EM/NCO type. Silk lining. Unmarked. Marked with the initials of the soldier.
Both buttons in place.
No moth damage. A very nice example rarely made from Italian gabardine around 1943/44 which was typically issued to Waffen-SS soldiers.
This cap was never available on the market before and came of the estate of a Waffen-SS veteran with some photos and documents about 15 years ago. Unfortunately, only the cap was kept.
