Waffen-SS black-coloured 'Panzer'-trousers (ie. 'Feldhose für SS-Panzer-Besatzungen'). The piece comes in a clearly used and/or worn condition: it does show some damaged- and repaired areas. It has a white-coloured- and linnen-based lining but is void of any marking- or size-indication. (this might, however, been washed-away during usage). The pair retains all its period buttons (however, some of them might have been re-sewn as is more often observed.
The pair has two front-pockets (that can be closed by means of a specific flap) and has only one back-pocket (all indicative for a genuine 'Feldhose for SS-Panzer-Besatzungen'). Both bottom-legs have, however, been altered and shortened: the period closing-system has altered an has been replaced by elastic-bands. Furthermore, has the pair a 'false' seam on its front (most certainly period-done by a tailor). The waist measures: 76 cms. whereas its length is 108 cms. This particular piece is well worn but is nevertheless a very rarely encountered uniform-item!
