M1910 field tunic

Description

M1910 field tunic, documents and photo to Vizefeldwebel Hermann Hoffmann serving with Westf. Train-Ers.-Abt.7 when he signed up for service in 1914.

He was sent to Sanitäts-Abteilung 7 in 1918 where he was discharged in 1919. A winner of the Iron Cross 2nd Class as his military ID proofs.
A very rare chance to purchased a M10 tunic with original documents and photos of the owner!

-

Fieldgrey M10 tunic. Folded collar with blue piping. Signs of wear to the top. Including a sew-in collar protection band. Two "Sergeant" buttons in place. Machine-attached NCO tress.

Two sewn-in shoulder boards with "2" "Kolonne" buttons. You can clearly see that there once were machine-embroidered No. "7" cyphers to each board which would be right for Train-Ers.-Abt.7. He must have removed that numbers when sent to Sanitäts-Abteilung 7.

Blue piped cuffs. Two buttons attached to each sleeve.

All buttons period time attached. One missing. Red vertical piping along the button line.

Typical cotton lining. "1915" dated as well as "2.E." (2. Eskadron) as well as "T. ..." unit (probably T.A,7) marked. "B.A.VII 1915" depot marked.
Blue ink maker marks.
Removed Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon.

Signs of wear to the end of the sleeves. A few old repairs. Only a very few moth holes.
Good condition 2.

Military ID mentioning he was discharged still owning his tunic, trousers, shirt, boots, socks and underwear on 30.4.1919.
Full of notes and entries telling you more on his service time. Four photos and one document. One numeric "7" cypher.

Extremely rare!
