Waffen-SS, camouflaged and reversible, winter-uniform parka ('SS-Winterjacke') as executed in so-called: oak-leave-type, 'Herbst'- (ie. autumn) pattern.
The parka retains bright- and vivid colours and was only minimally worn. It is totally void of any markings (something that is more often observed with these reversible winter-uniforms).
The parka - which is naturally reversible - shows some moderate wear, age and staining (especially on the white-coloured inside). All buttons are present and in place (some seem to have been period-attached).
It should be noted that the buttons (and button-hole-flap) on the white-coloured inside were regrettably period-removed (something that was, however, common practice). The piece also shows a somewhat torn-open seam (visible on the hood).
The parka retains its hood but misses its internal waist-band. The piece is fairly large-sized and will with certainty fit a mannequin (it has a waist that is approximately 112 cms. sized).
Simply a fine - and rarely encountered! - Waffen-SS winter-uniform-item!
