Third Reich Deutsche Jägerschaft luxury hunting dagger, a so-called "Hirschfänger".
An excellent etched blade on three sides shows hunting motifs and ornaments. "Carl Eickhorn Solingen" maker marked. On the back of the blade, there is the marking of the distributor W. MICHOVIUS COTTBUS. Stains on both sides.
A genuine horn grip bearing the "DJ" emblem on the front. No chipping. Beautiful decorated and silvered handle fittings (non-magnetic). The shell guard depicts a capercaillie. Leather-finished scabbard with silvered iron fittings. The bottom fitting is also nicely decorated with a stag. No dents, but on the front, the scabbard is slightly "unshapely".
