Late issue SS dagger made by SMF - shows RZM number on blade rather than logo.
The dagger presents itself well with even wear and patina but overall a very nice original piece. Blade shows the motto 'Meine Ehre Heisst Treue' in solid relief to the nickel finished blade that shows some tarnishing from the years. Reverse shows the RZM stamp with 1198/39 and SS runes attributed to Solinger Metalwaffenfabrik.
The grip are very clean with slight nicks and marks of wear but with the SS roundel and eagle showing prominently.
The scabbard's overall conditional is very clean with some marks of patina on the nickel finished fittings and minor losses to the black finish
Includes hangers which are stamped RZM M5/25 for Christian Lübeck on the clip which is fully serviceable.
Overall a great example of a later SS dagger with even wear but a great state of preservation.
