Extremely rare NPEA Chained Service Dagger for a leader.
The blade shows the etched motto "Mehr sein als scheinen." "Karl Burgsmüller Berlin" maker/distributor marked on the reverse. Stains on both sides. The green stains can probably be removed by professional cleaning.
Brown wooden handle with an inlaid eagle. No chipping. Similar in design to an SA dagger but without the SA roundel. Nickel-plated zinc crossguards. Partially corroded.
Original olive-green painted steel scabbard with nickel-plated iron fittings. The scabbard has light rust stains and a small dent on the "ball". All screws are present.
Comes with the original dagger chain. Unmarked snap clip. It works completely.
Signs of wear. Overall condition 2-.
