An untouched grouping to the Bavarian WW1 veteran and later Gendarmerie officer Johann Z., born on 24.12.1895.
Directly consigned by the granddaughter of the veteran. Never available on the market before. Photocopies of the veterans Wehrpaß as well as other documents for additional research (which the family wanted to keep) will be sent to the winner of any item of his grouping on request.
A very fine EM/NCO pattern Gendarmerie shako with brown lacquered top and visor. Almost no signs of wear!
Eagle: aluminum. Period time attached with the original screws, discs and nuts.
Cockade: aluminum. "1937" dated
Green felt: Very good condition. Only a few tiny moth bites/holes
Lining: Fine leather lining. Very soft.
Markings: "Gend.1937" and "1937" stamped. EREL maker marked to the dom
