Fine Heer General's visor cap made by "EREL". Early type with its insignia still silver finished. Erwin Rommel had worn a similar early cap with silver insignia. Gilt insignia were used for later caps.
Fine, high quality "Frischluft" example made by Erel. Characteristic "Frischluft" cockade with ventilation holes to the red coloured centre.
Matching cap eagle and wreath badge (aluminium) from excellent condition. Gold colour bullion piping with the same nice patina as the chin strap. Chin strap buttons are sewn to the cap correctly.
Fine "Superior quality" marked sweat-band. A few stiches have opened. Excellent gold colour silk lining with OFFIZIER KLEIDERKASSE BERLIN "Erel Sonderklasse Extra" markings to the celluloid diamond which comes without any cracks and still with the original "EREL" paper attached.
Lovely cap in good condition 2. Minor moth bites if you look closely.
