Luftwaffe visor cap for EM and NCOs. Unlike an officer's cap which was always worn with a silver bullion piping, EM and NCOs had a colored piping that indicated the branch they were serving for.
Branch: Anti-aircraft troops. Red piping.
Insignia: A aluminum wreath badge and zinc eagle. All prongs in place.
Chin strap: textbook black strap for EM and NCOs. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: light-brown color linen lining with slight signs of wear.
Celluloid diamond: intact, with manufacturer marking Erel Sonderklasse, and size stamp 59 1/2.
Sweat-band: minor signs of wear.
Original, worn cap with some moth bites. Beautiful cap with patina.
