Luftwaffe visor cap for EM and NCOs. Unlike an officer's cap which was always worn with a silver bullion piping, EM and NCOs had a colored piping that indicated the branch they were serving for.
Branch: Flying troops. Yellow piping with heavy moth damage.
Insignia: An aluminum cap eagle and a zinc wreath badge. All prongs in place.
Chin strap: textbook black strap for EM and NCOs. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: Yellow color silk.
Celluloid diamond: intact. No size or manufacturer markings visible.
Sweatband: some cracks and clear signs of wear and age.
Worn cap, with some moth damage and clear signs of wear and age.
