Scarce Third Reich period time airport police shako. It is made from blue instead of green cloth which was used for Gendarmerie or Police troops.
Made by HANS RÖMER, Neu-Ulm. Po1938 stamped to the inside of the liner. The shako also looks to be named with a pen next to the makers logo. Size 57,5 stamped. Soft leather. W.H. initials. No moth damage.
Aluminium cap eagle and cockade. The patina to the insignia is a little different so the cockade could have been not issued with this shako originally. The cap eagle is screwed on and looks absolutely original attached.
