Excellent Waffen-SS officer's visor cap. A fantastic example in near mint condition.
Fine black velvet cap band. Clean white piping. One pair of near mint condition aluminum insignia. Both are really matching nicely.
Looking to the lining behind the eagle there are two holes for the prongs of the eagle. This could mean the eagle was re-attached.
One zinc, one aluminum cord button. Both sewn to the cap band.
Fine silk lining with intact celluloid diamond. Nicely worn sweat-band. Soft.
Not a single moth hole. Size 56.
According to our consignor, this cap belonged to the Finish SS officer Pentti Kotkanen serving with Regiment "Germania".
