Wehrmacht M42 helmet. Issued without a decal. The shell comes with most of its original "rough" factory paint. The maker's mark to the reverse of the shell is hard to read but can either be "ckl" or "hkp". The size marking is 62. The liner is "54" size marked and comes with a small piece being repaired. The cord is original.
The liner is original but looks to be re-attached to the shell.
The areas around the rivets looks to be slightly wet from the photos but they are not. Maybe someone added a bit of oil here.
