A very fine and untouched pair of electrically heated Luftwaffe flight trousers. So-called "channel trousers" as they were worn by aircraft crews during the Battle of Britain. This pair was made in 1944, long ofter the Battle of Britain.
Complete and nicely working STOCKO marked press buttons. One of the four inside buttons to attach suspenders is missing. Both leg zippers are "DRP" and "ZIPP" marked and are fully working. The top front zipper is also fully working but "Elite" maker marked.
The side pocket zippers are again "ZIPP" marked and fully working. The zipper to the left side of the left leg is "RAPID" marked and is full workying.
All zippers and buttons are originally attached.
1944 dated to the Rb-numbered cloth maker's tag. Size "IIb" stamped. There is another "IIb" ink size stamp to the cloth.
Nice velvet lining.
Slightly worn. Minor signs of age. Very nice!
