Early war Vienna mint production of the 1939 Wound Badge in Gold with Case. Both the badge and case are in near-mint condition. The black case (the color used for the gold badge) is marked “Hauptmünzamt Wien III” on the bottom. The badge is unmarked as one would expect for an early war (pre-1941) production but has the squared edge pin catch found on the Vienna Mint productions and few others.
