Grade II (25) Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. This award was made by Gustav Brehmer from Markneukirchen, properly marked G.B. on the Panzer's reverse. An extremely well-preserved example that was saved by spending its life in its original envelope of issue. All wreath finish is intact and that is almost never the case on a G.B. made higher grade. The darker finish on the Panzer application shows only very minor traces of wear. This early produced example still features the third rivet holding the number shield and in this condition won't be easy to upgrade. As an extra bonus this G.B. comes with its very rare original wrapping paper and envelope of issue.
