Kriegsmarine so-called "Überzieher" tunic. Nick-named "Colani" due to the name of the tailor "Berger & Colani" (Berlin/Kiel) which was a famous distributor for the Imperial German navy.
This Colani was worn by a civil servant ("Beamter") of the Kriegsmarine and tailored in Paris in 1943.
Breast eagle: Machine-embroidered NCO/officer's breast eagle attached by hand. Silver wire on dark blue backing. A very rare eagle!
Sewn-in shoulder boards with matching silver and not gold tress! Minor moth damage.
Lining: typical dark blue wool lining.
Markings: Size markings and markings of the French tailor.
