Description

A fine quality Luftwaffe 4-pocket tunic to Generalleutnant Aschenbrenner. Aschenbrenner was awarded the German Cross in silver on 21.9.1942. A privately tailored example from fine dark blue gabardine along with a fine silk lining.

Collar tabs: Hand-embroidered. Attached by machine. Nice patina.
Shoulder boards: Generalleutnant. White color. Large silver rank pips. Small gilt shoulder board buttons. Very nice quality! Sewn-in. A nicely matching pair.
Breast eagle. Finest quality hand-embroidered bullion piece accurately attached by hand.

Fine dark blue silk lining. 

Machine-attached name tag by the tailor "H.H. Dohmessen & Co." named to "Gen.Maj. H. Aschenbrenner" dated "12.VI.42". 

Buttons: Complete and period time attached. OLC maker marked. 

Three loops for his German Cross in silver as well as loops for at least three awards and a 12,5cm long ribbon bar.

Not a single moth hole. An excellent tunic!

Matching breeches made by the same tailor. Machine-attached white generals stripes to both sides of the leg.
Fine silk lining. Working zippers. All buttons complete and period time attached showing a nice blueish finie.

A machine attached named tag "Gen.Maj. H. Aschenbrenner" attached to one of the pockets. 
Waist: 91cm Length: 105cm

No moth holes.
