Description

Wehrmacht EM/NCO leather boots. Original soles with hobb nails, heel irons and irons. Used conditon. 

Stamped inside with 2./Bb.Abt.7.

Observation Department 7 was set up on May 1, 1933, in Munich, in military district VII. The line-up took place under the code name "Fahr-Abteilung München". On October 15, 1935, the department was renamed Observation Department 7. The department was subordinate to the 7th Infantry Division. In 1938, the department moved to its final peacetime location in Ingolstadt, in military district VII. In December 1939, the department was mobilized. In the eastern campaign, the department was used in southern Russia. On October 23, 1942, the detachment received a balloon troop from Ballon-Battery 100. The detachment was annihilated in Stalingrad in January 1943. The 2nd was the Sound troop.
