Untouched Prussian spike helmet consigned by the family. Never been in collector's hands before!
Prussian M1886 officer's spike helmet with camo cover inside its original storage container.
Size "56" as well as a name written with pencil to the inside. No extra holes. All insignia original to the helmet. Complete with both cockades.
The spike and front emblem in excellent condition with full original gilding. The gilding of the brass parts has mostly disappeared. Removable spike.
Leather corpus in nice shape. Officer's silk lining in fine condition.
The helmet comes with a textbook matching camo cloth cover. It is correctly "56" size marked and comes with minor signs of age and wear.
Container in good condition.
