Description

Medal bar from Lieutenant Colonel Dietrich Freiherr von und zu Weichs an der Glonn. He was born on July 1, 1850, and served for most of his career as an officer with the Husars. One of his posts was in Wandsbeck with the Husar Regiment 15. He progressed to become the "Horse Pre-Sampling Commissioner" in Altona. His last rank was Lieutenant Colonel as he segwayed into retirement in 1907.

The medal bar consists of the Prussian Red Eagle Order 4th Class in Silver, no makers mark, Prussian Crown Order 3rd Class in Gold, marked "N", Prussian Officers Long Service Cross in bronze gilt, Prussian War Commemorative Medal, 1870/71, in bronze, for combatant, Prussian Centennial Medal in bronze gilt, Mecklenburg- Schwerin, House Order of the Wendish Crown, Knight Cross in Gold, by Rose and Saxe Weimar, House Order of the White Falcon, Knight Cross 2nd Division, type 1853-1901, "CA", 5th Variation, in gilt silver. 

The medal bar in in fantastic condition and features the red felt backing with full needle system.
