A very nice MP38u40 six-cell pouch coming with its original web carrying strap. Late-war construction in olive green canvas with web closure straps and belt loops. The pouch features two grey web securing straps that are fitted with the « LUX » marked metal tips. Scarcer web securing flaps in place. All stitching remains complete and tightly secured. The reverse of the pouch is ink stamped in black with the weapon’s designation « MP.38 u.40 ». Interior flap is nicely and clearly stamped with the makers code and date of production « bla/1944 ». The original green web carrying strap comes with the pouch. This type of pouch was used by armored crew members to include assault gunners and light skinned vehicles. Was also used and made famous by paratroopers « Fallschirmjäger ». In unissued condition.
