Third Reich police "Schutzpolizei" shako for officer's. Correct hand-stiched officer's cockade with extra parade bush attached. Officer's chin straps with leather strap backing.
The front badge was replaced. It is actually an EM/NCO pattern which is slightly thiner than an officer's example. You can also see extra holes to the shako when looking to the inside. However, the screws and nuts do look old to it was certainly changed a long time ago. The badge is of course original.
Shako with black lacquered top in good condition two. Unfotunately one smal moth damage below the eagle's right wing.
The shako is definitely also officer since it comes with a ripped silk lining.
